Writing this blog has given me a lot to think about. I hope some of the readers go away with increased information and a little bit more hope for those with mental illness. I have written for about a year and am taking a little break now.
I hope those dealing with life’s difficult situations find some peace and love. I am happy so many people have read some of my work. It is my hope people continue to read and learn. Maybe these writings could give some people some relief from their confusion and questioning. Others may be inspired to do their own writing and soul-searching.
My writing has improved through-out this time period and I am feeling more confident with the themes I write about. I have had a chance to share some of my thoughts and passionate beliefs here, for that I am truly thankful. What a great opportunity!

Thanks to my relatives who enjoy reading what I’ve written so we can feel that we have a greater understanding of one another. I may start back to the blog in several months. In the mean-time take good care of yourselves and spread the happiness around!
This book has been out in print all summer now. Fifty copies have been sold to the public and the hospital has found a fund to purchase one hundred copies. I am on a bit of a roller coaster of happiness, loss and success. Read the rest of this entry
Reading books has been a hobby of mine for most of my life. I’ve read a lot of self-help books especially. This may give you a hint of why I wanted to write my own book.
It all started back in 1999. I was hanging out with people who were interacting in spiritual ways where they were giving messages back and forth from a greater source of love and light. I was glad that they were kind messages and some of them were very insightful. Read the rest of this entry
First off, I have to decide to go for a walk. I often feel like a walk but am filled with trepidation about what the outcome might be. I like the fresh air and the beautiful flowers in people’s gardens. I like seeing people out and about. Whether you have a mental illness or not, it boosts the immune system to hear nice things and to participate in small acts of kindness. You know it. I’m sure you do. You are just about to introduce yourself to someone and you think, I’m not good enough. You become aware of something in your past that was hurtful and embarrassing and somehow that makes you less valuable. At the current time you are unable to start a friendship with this new interesting person that could bring much happiness into your life. You remembered a flaw in the midst of your perfection.
Many of us struggle with our emotions. To share our feelings can be a great relief. Sharing feelings isn’t often taught. People are lucky to learn some options and choices related to their feelings.
